The american horror story is a Horror/drama tv show. Currently the third season or the Coven is currently aired as of the fall 2013. The tv show is about a particular witch organization called the Coven which is supposed to be one of the most prestigious which organization of all. in the show there are girls who undergo almost pornographic scenes including sex with a menitar half man half bull. also the show details descriptive matters of rape and other explicit means. When asked to rhetorically analyze this i thought that the intro did not live up to what the show was about. the intro's music is very deep and vulgar almost as if nails were on a chalk board. the show displays little if any of the subject matters on the intro. As i looked deeper into the graphics i saw picture over absolute horrific monsters and zombies. However, i saw the resemblance into the show that it could mean that beauty can be a horrific and disgustic subject matter. Then after further detailing what was going on in the intro i saw that there were a mix of only monsters and beautiful witches and came to the conclusion that they were the same. this show i think helps our society know that sometimes monsters can live in beautiful skin. furthermore the matter of a fact that people watch this show frequently might mean that they will be more careful of their own surroundings due to fear.

In this youtube video, Eminem performs his new single from his new album that will be hitting stores on november 5th. In the video he displays similar vulgar language as in the past albums. However, instead of targeting a newer generation like he has done in the past he combines his song with a 90's beat to attract the older audience. He use's references such as "lets take it back to straight hip hop and start it from scratch implying that he thought that 90's hip-hop was predominant. He also reaches out to the older crowd by sharing this song to the viewers before every thursday night football game. In this music video he shows countless amounts of violent acts that cut in and out throughout the music video. The resemblance in his music video to fighting and football are extremely similar in a violent matter. Eminem encourages to "let yourself go and go Berserk" to his audiences as the right thing to do. When asked to analyze this i knew it would be difficult to not be biased because i am an Eminem fan. However, his tone of voice as he yells into the microphone displaying street fights in the background of his video as well as performing before football games leads me to believe that he is wanting to get peoples attention. Eminem has sold more albums than any other hip-hop artist and he has done so predominantly in the 90's. It can be asked if Eminem has corrupted Americas's youth with violence. It leaves wonders if Eminem has shaped our generations of youth negatively and violently. Which leaves the question if Eminem has made thousands of dollars off of violent music, will he remain with violent content to please viewers and make even more money? Or could he be using violence one way or the other to regain more recent fame.

At the beginning of the clip of "The Whitest Kids You Know" 5 middle age men are posing as a teacher and 4th graders. They use comedy to reflect how they perceive what american schools and youth are like in today's society. Running with many stereotypes they feel like it is somewhat true and will make viewers laugh. At the start of the episode the teacher infers that the students are not smart. She then pokes fun and makes a game out of seeing which students mom just died. The students become immediately frightened and proceed to guess with the students. While guessing which student mom had died the teacher reply's to all of the statements with violent and unhealthy remarks for example "no she drank herself to death last week". Once the particular student finds out that his mom died he goes on a rampage. The student goes and drinks alcohol with chocolate syrup and starts to rebel with only an excuse that his parents have died. When asked to critically analyze this video. I have come to realize the main actors or doing what they perceive as what is cool and funny. I thought that the their title "the whitest kids you know" is stereotypically fit for them for they fear black people and disagree with what they do. Also, as a positive note i feel like this video demonstrates that american children are suffering more and more from depression in households due to domestic violence. Because of this nature society has taken in cause and affects of depression with the american society.

over the years everyone has known Russel Brand to be provocative and funny. Well recently on a new talk show he has taken it to the new level. he has invited the westboro Baptist church to come in and interview. he starts off introducing the religion. He then asked a series of questions to see if certain people were going to hell or heaven including gandhi which the westboro Baptist church thought he was going to hell. Russel brand then makes real light of the situation making the audience laugh. through out the show he mocks both sides of the situations. lastly he brings in a few guests that are homosexual he then has the two group of people comfort each other. They seem as if the westboro Baptist church people are not being polite. He then suggest the two group of people to hug each other with the intent of it never happening. when asked to analyze this I came up with the fact of how he can take such two opposing sides together. The westboro babtist church came in wearing nothing but black. they were also standing firm with what they believed in. Through out the skit both party's remained unanimous to their own stereotypes as if it was expected of them. It is incredible that russel Brand could make light of this situation. The most important theory I saw was that he counter attacked the westboro Baptist church in his favor so he can jump start his career.
